To upgrade your license to that of Managing Broker in Illinois you must be licensed as a Broker for two years. The Managing Broker license allows you to open up your own Real Estate company, or work independently without a Sponsoring Broker. The curriculum consists of two categories; Illinois Law and Scenarios. Students will be provided a home study packet consisting of these topics. You will attend the live sessions all taught by Sam Zakarian, via Webinar and in-person classes. A test is given on the final session and then you’d register to take the state exam. The materials and instruction provided are very specific to what is on the state exam. To date, the Chicago Real Estate School in association with this curriculum has a 100% pass rate on the state exam.
