Become an Agent

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BECOME A REAL ESTATE AGENT IN ILLINOIS?

Becoming a Real Estate Agent is not a complex process. (By the way, the official term for a real estate agent is “Real Estate Broker”, but we’ll use both interchangeably on this website.) You’ll need to:

  1. figure out if Real Estate is right for you,
  2. take (and pass) a 90-hour Broker Pre-License Course,
  3. pass the Illinois Real Estate Exam, and
  4. start selling!

You probably have LOTS of questions about each of those steps, and this website should answer just about all of them! In addition, there’s information about paying for the course, getting your Real Estate license, what post-licensing education is required, and also our money-back guarantee.

Feel free to chat with us online (using the LiveChat button at the bottom of every page of the site), or call or text us at 773-647-1830 (our extended hours are listed at the bottom of the page). You can also email our Director at kim@cresedu.com, and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours. Finally, if you’d like to receive our brochure, just fill out the form at the bottom of the page. We look forward to having you join us soon!

“I had a great experience. Frank, the instructor, is great at keeping you you engaged even through long classes that end late in the evening. I felt very prepared for both exams.”
