WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO BECOME A REAL ESTATE AGENT IN ILLINOIS?
Becoming a Real Estate Agent is not a complex process. (By the way, in Illinois the official term for a real estate agent is “Real Estate Broker”, but we’ll use both interchangeably on this website.) You’ll need to:
- figure out if Real Estate is right for you,
- take a 75-hour Broker Pre-License Course,
- pass the Illinois Real Estate Exam, and
- sign on with a Sponsoring Broker
