Become an Agent
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BECOME A REAL ESTATE AGENT IN ILLINOIS?
Becoming a Real Estate Agent is not a complex process. (By the way, in Illinois the official term for a real estate agent is “Real Estate Broker”, but we’ll use both interchangeably on this website.) You’ll need to:
- figure out if Real Estate is right for you,
- take a 75-hour Broker Pre-License Course,
- pass the Illinois Real Estate Exam, and
- sign on with a Sponsoring Broker
You probably have LOTS of questions about each of those steps, and this website should answer just about all of them! In addition, there’s information about paying for the course, getting your Real Estate license, what careers are available when you have a license, finding a real estate firm to work at, what post-licensing education is required, our money-back guarantee, and how we compare with other Real Estate Schools.
