CLASS STRUCTURE & PROCESS

MORE DETAILS ON BECOMING A REAL ESTATE BROKER (AGENT)

The process for becoming a Real Estate Broker (agent) is straightforward, but you’ll probably have lots of questions about the details. You’ll find the answers here!

There’s only one class required for you to take the state Real Estate exam: the 75-hour Broker Pre-license Course. You’ll need to take it from an approved school, like the Chicago Real Estate School. The course covers all of the topics for the state exam, and is available in three different formats. You can go from zero to having your license in as little as 3 weeks, if you’re highly motivated.

The course is entirely focused on helping you to pass the Illinois Real Estate Exam. You’ll have quizzes throughout, to ensure that you’re mastering the material, and the class final test is closely aligned with the state exam. You must pass the class test in order to qualify to take the state exam.

Our classroom courses are offered at three locations around Chicagoland, and are available on weekday mornings, weekday evenings, and Saturdays. Whether you take the classroom or online course, you’ll have the help you need – you can ask questions via email, or simply give us a call. If you need extra tutoring help, we can arrange for that as well. We also have an Online Broker Review Course available for an extra charge (or included in some of our package deals).

There’s no admissions process – once you’ve decided that you’re ready to get your license, simply choose the class that works best for you, and register online or over the phone (773-647-1830). You’ll receive a confirmation email with details about receiving your textbook and getting started!
